I love my new sunglasses. They make a statement without being outlandish. In fact I got a compliment on them the very first time I wore them!
*lovely pair of frames. the high gloss finish enhances the translucent amber coloring and makes for attention grabbing shades. the bevel around the lenses makes them look a lot more expensive than they are. I get compliments on them every time I wear them out. lastly, the frame size is *perfect for someone with a medium/larger head (looking at my fellow square jawed guys). the size keeps me from looking like im wearing “women’s” or children’s glasses.
I came across AKILA from an instagram ad. In a world where we are bombarded with so much information and ads to purchase. I am glad I found AKILA. The Apollo sunglasses I purchased are it. They got good weight, quality and super stylish and subtly different from everything else on the market.
Super cute. Very shiny finish.
Quickly became one of my favorite pairs of sunglasses. I have a big head and face but they fit perfectly. The only downside is that the frame and lens are darker than they appear on the website.
AKILA Eyewear is designed to last & handcrafted from eco-friendly plant-based cellulose acetate.
Cellulose acetate is a natural bioplastic made from the fibers of cotton or wood pulp. This compound is then mixed with various colored dyes, block casted, then sliced into sheets or chipped into tiny color pellets. The final product is biodegradable and renewable.
