All Akila frames bring compliments but Ascent in black, for some reason, is loved by all. I'll be walking at a grocery store and people will stop me and compliment me on my frames. For those with wider faces, it might be a tight(er) fit...mine is just on the borderline. But, I think it helps narrow my face a bit to have a frame that 'just fits'. Very comfortable. Also, hoping the Havana color way returns, so I can expand my collection as bright blue just isn't my jam.
